Washington DC layout with older pictures

Hello Friends, Sorry I have not been online much. I have been busy assembling Ikea Furniture that I got for the new scrapbook room and putting things away. I am totally loving the way it is all shaping up. I will for sure post pictures soon.

Mean while I managed to take a picture of the Layout that I did for 28 sketches class conducted by Lisa Day on Bigpictureclasses.com. I loved this class and she gave us some awesome sketches. I used some of the pictures that we took at Washington DC during my parents visit (2007).

This is not the best capture of this layout, but the best that I could manage. For some reason, I could not get a straight picture :( But a simple and elegant sketch and I loved how it turned out.

Brenham Trip Scrapbook Page - Part 2

Hi Friends, Sorry I have been MIA for a while now. My Hubby is helping me move my scrapbook room into ab bigger room in our home and we have been busy painting, putting in laminate flooring etc in that new room (I will post pictures of that as well). I have worked on quite a few layouts and cards, but have not had time to photograph them.

So, here I am with the layout I did with pictures from our Brenham trip. There are a few more LO's from this trip, that I have to yet photograph :)

This is a two page layout with the title split across the page. It has two envelopes with journaling tucked inside them. I used some crocheted flowers as well on this page. Not the best picture of the LO - for some reason I was having really hard time photographing this layout. I liked how this turned out.
