Saturday Scrapook Sketch Challenge #4

This is my entry for the Saturday Scrapbook challenge #4 at IC Blog. This two page layout sketch worked out perfect for me. These were some of the pictures that we took in KSU Campus in Lawrence, KS. We were visiting my cousin with my parents and few of dad's cousins and their families were there as well. So were a big gang and had tons of fun :)

Copic Color Challenge #49

I did this card for the Copic Color Challenge #49 - Which was to use E00(Skin White), E33 (Sand) and R02 (Blush). I used the ingredients from the Secret Sister Card Kit that I had received a while back from the Secret Sister Swap on SCS Hosted by Angela.

So here is the card. I used E00 and R02 for her face and E33 for her hair and stockings. It was fun to color this image and this is the first time I have done a card with Tilda :) All the ingredients on this card except the card base is from the card kit :) THANKS to my SS.

Here is the copic color challenge chart,

Supplies:
Stamp - Tilda - from SS Swap Kit
Paper - From the SS Swap Kit, PTI White Cardstock
Ink - Memento Black, Copics
Other - Prima Flowers, Buttons, SU Large Oval Punch

Fun Time is {ippity} Blog Hop Time

It is Monday and that means {ippity} blog hop time. I wanted to show case {ippity} stamps on scrapbook pages. I love how versatile these stamps are and how you can use them for a variety of projects. For the complete list of blog hop participants - check out the {ippity} blog.

Click here if you want to buy these {ippity} stamps.

Here is the first layout. I used the Devoted Stamp Set. I created a border using the branch image from this set and colored the leaves with some Copic Spica Glitter pen. The home image was stamped in Memento brown and lightly colored with Copics. Since I was scrapping the photos of my Mom around the home, this set was perfect for this LO.'

The second LO was created for the Scrap Friendzy Super Sketch-a-thon - using their sketch 13. This is a sketch from Jana Eubanks.

I used the Stamp set Because Of You for this LO. The sentiment from the set worked perfect for this Photo. This photo was taken on a sunset cruise when we were visiting Las Cabos, Mexico. Our hair is all tousled up and we look a bit tired, but this photo with the sunset in the background is one of my fav and I had to create a LO for it. This stamp set was perfect for it.

I used a combination of papers from My Minds Eye, Daisy D and some from my stash. I tried to go with a combination of papers that was close to the sunset colors.
Here is the sketch,

Supplies:
Stamp - {ippity} Because of You and Devoted
Paper - My Minds Eye, Daisy D, Coredinations, SU White and Grey CS
Ink - PTI New Leaf, Pure Poppy, Dark Chocolate and Memento Brown. Copic Spica Glitter Pens

Trip to Cliff Resort

It is time to present my interpretation of this week's inspiration over at Inspired Crafters. You have to check it out. Jen has awesome inspiration for us to work with. I went with her catalog and how the photos were stacked together. I also took some of the colors in there for inspiration.

These are the pictures we took at Cliff Resort, here in Texas near Possum Kingdom Lake. It was just beautiful. This golf resort sits on a cliff facing the lake and is just gorgeous. Great Spa, Sunsets, Walks and wading in the lake. It was way too nice. I had fun reliving the memories of this trip while doing this LO.

Supplies:
Stamp - Studio G Stamp from Michaels
Paper - Coredinations CS, SU PP
Ink - Memento Black and Copics

Family in Orange Orchard

I did this layout for the Sketchy Thursday Sketch Challenge. I used this photo that we had taken in an Orange Orchard near Three Rivers, California. My Parents loved this whole concept of open Orchards and the long neat row of Orange Trees :) I used mostly My Minds Eye Papers for this Layout and some generic CS. I cut out the shaped image from Cricut Storybook Cartridge. It feels nice to be using Cricut again - I guess it is because I am doing lot more LO's now a days. I used felt thickers for the title. I took inspiration from the colors in the photo - Orange, green and browns for the colors of my layout.

Here is the sketch,

CPS150 and Scrapbook Page

I am doing more scrapbook layouts now a days and enjoying it a lot. So, I decided to take the Fresh Idea from Lisa as mentioned on the {ippity} Blog and use this card sketch to create a scrapbook layout.

Here is my Page. These were the photos I took during our visit to NYC this past Christmas and this was in Columbia University - nestled in the heart of the city. Sorry for the bad photos within the layout. These photos were taking using my iPhone and the clarity is not the best :)

I printed out the title from Computer and edged it with some copic marker to give it a shadow feeling. I also cut out some signs from the Cricut Going Places Cartridge to give a NYC city feel to the page.

Here is the CPS150 Sketch,

Supplies:
Stamp - None
Paper - Coredinations Card stock, American Crafts Travel Paper Pack
Ink - Copics
Other - PTI Vintage Buttons, Cricut Going Places Cartridge, Punches

Here is the sketch,

Supplies:
