Off The Wall Craftiness Challenge #8 using CPS Sketch

I discovered Kim's blog during May papertrey ink blog hop and wanted to play with her latest challenge #8 which was an inspiration photo. I used the latest CPS Sketch #168 for my card,

I used PTI Lemon Tart, Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores together for this card. I punched out some Umbrella's from a Martha Stewart Punch and popped them using foam dots. I used Kraft, Lavender Moon and Hawaiian shores for the umbrella's. Sentiment is from PTI Scattered Showers. I Kept it generic so I could use it for multiple occasions.

In retrospect, I feel like I could have added some ribbon or buttons..but somehow this card looks kind of clean and neat and I am liking it a lot. :) I think this is another one of those sketches that I will go back to.

Here is the inspiration photo,

Here is the CPS Sketch,

Thanks for stopping by,

Click here if you are interested in buying some {ippity} stamps for yourself. The new SPRING 2010 stamps are here.

I have two cards to share with you,

1) {ippity} card that I created for The Play Date Cafe Challenge #30

Sorry for the picture quality. The weather was so dull that I could not get a good picture. The challenge was to use the colors light yellow, light green and Light Pink. I used PTI Lemon Tart and Spring Moss CS. I stamped the ferns from the {ippity} Fishy Philosophy in Memento Pear Tart and New Sprout Inks on PTI Lemon Tart CS. I color the Fish image from the same set using Copics, cut it out and popped them up using some foam dots. The sentiment was stamped in Brown ink.

2) I created a card using Our Creative Corner Sketch #16 and the new Spring 2010 release {ippity} set Now and Always. I love the flourish in this set. I stamped it off once on a scratch page to get a faint faded image effect - almost like a debossed effect. I can imagine this flourish in bolder colors as well.

Here is the sketch,

Supplies:
Stamp - {ippity} Now and Always & Fishy Philosophy
Paper - PTI CS
Ink - Memento, PTI and Copics
Other - PTI Vintage Buttons, PTI Ribbon, Punches

I used the PMS Meme stamp for the PMS swap.

I used the SCS Sketch #276 for this card with slight modifications in terms of moving the main image slightly to the left and to add the pearls. The patterned papers are a combination of Bazzill Embossed Papers and Luxe Designs.

Supplies:

Happy for You

I wanted to share this card that I did using the PTI Enjoy the Ride stamp set. I did this card for one of our friends who were moving back to India. I cased Nichole's card that she did for College Bound.

I used the Little Argyle background also with this card. Quite happy how it turned out. Although I did not draw the lines from the chair to car to make the chair look tied..oh well. Also my sentiment looks kind of skewed...Next time, I will get it right..or was it designed that way? lol

Thanks for stopping by to visit. Have a great Friday.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Enjoy the Ride, PTI Little Argyle background set
Paper - PTI Smoky Shadow, White and Pure Poppy
Ink - Memento Black, PTI Snow white, Versamark and Copics

YAY!! The new {ippity} stamps are here and they are just awesome.

Digital Bird Images

My friend Jen is hosting a Tree and Bird Cards swap on SCS. If you are a bird and tree lover like me, you will enjoy this swap. Check it out here.

After joining this swap, I have been obsessed with Bird Images, not that I was not before. So, I found these really neat Digi Bird Images online and had to create some cards with it. I am not sure if I am going to use these same ones for the swap or not, but it was fun creating these cards.

1) I used this beautiful Bird Image from Whimsy Haven stamps and Kazan's sketch #52 for this adorable card.

I colored the image with Copics and used PTI and MME patterned papers with the PTI Medium scalloped die to create the border ruffle.

Here is the Sketch,

2) I used this bird house image again from Sweet and Sassy Stamps along with the Tuesday Morning Sketch's #45

I cut out the stamped image that I colored with copics and popped it up with some foam dots. I embossed the Hawaii shores CS with the Argyle cuttle bug folder.

Here is the sketch,

3) I used this One of Kind image from Sweet and Sassy Stamps along with SCS Sketch #202 for this beautiful card.

I cut out the copic colored image and popped it up against this cuttle bug embossed background.

Here is the sketch,

Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

Supplies:
