Love and Cherish

I wanted to share this Engagement card that I did for a friend. I used some of the Tajmahal collection paper from DCVW that my friend Amy sent to me. This paper is so beautiful in real life, my photography truly does not do any justice to that paper. I paper pierced the dress from the image using PTI Bitty Dot Basics Polka Dot Paper in Green.

She had wanted an Engagement card with some Traditional Indian colors and texture but also with a retro feel. So this patterned paper with this image from Gina K designs was perfect for this card. I printed the sentiment from Computer and added some pearls to the card.

Thanks for stopping by,
Supplies:
Stamp - GKD Heartfelt Hits
Paper - DCVW Tajmahal Collection Patterned paper, PTI Bitty Dot Basics PP, GKD Green CS
Ink - Memento Black
Other - Pearl Embellishments, Nestabilities

Banu, this is divine! I know your friend will love it. Do you know, I have yet to use my Taj Majal? I keep meaning to get some Indian stamps from Alluring Impressions and just haven't gotten around to it yet. But this paper is perfect for this card--so elegant!
