Bright and Blue Mermaid

Hello Friends, I hope all of you are having fun Memorial Weekend. I did a quick card for the Catch The Bug Challenge  - Bright Colors. Their sponsor this time is Flower soft. But I do not have any flower soft products, so I just created a card with Bright Colors.

I used the Bugaboo Ava Mermaid image for my card.

Just a quick and easy card. Coloring the image was super easy. In retrospect, it would have been nice to sponge the image panel after I cut it out, but oh well, next time.

Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger - The Pyrex Effect

As soon as I saw the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger - The Pyrex Effect, I knew that I wanted to use this stacked bird stamp from Studio G. I stamped the image and colored it with Copics. I then kept the card simple as I wanted the image to take the center spot. I also like making these blank cards that I can use for any occasion.

I took inspiration from the birds in the image, the way the Pyrex was stacked and the colors also. Awesome trigger this was.

Puppy Love - for Sketchy Thursday

These are pictures of my DH playing in the backyard with Bella - our 3 month old Lab Puppy (She is 5 months now though). I loved these pictures and they were perfect for this sketch.

Cupcake Girl

I used this sweet cupcake girl digi stamp from Bugaboo stamps. The presents is also a digi image. I colored them with copics and then kept it simple.

PTI May Blog Hop - Flower Power

PTI Blog Hop Challenge this time is to show case Flowers. I want to share a clean and Simple card that I did for this challenge using Floral Fusion #1 stamp set. I love these mini Floral Series. I used the Button Die from PTI for the Flower Centers.

I had done a similar card for the past PTI Swap on SCS and had loved how it turned out. So, I created a few more of these. Love how easy it was to put these together. Sorry for the bad picture.

Brenham Trip Scrapbook Page - Part 1

It has been a while since I posted. I have several projects that I am working on, some completed awaiting photography etc. Now a days it is more than just creating (although I do that also sometimes), it is about good photograph of your project, blogging about it etc. I mean all this is fun as well, but also time consuming :)

While I am busy doing all these, I wanted to share one of the layouts that I did for our Brenham, TX trip. There are several more pages in progress. This is a two page layout that I did.

Enjoy The Ride

I did this card for,

1) Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger - Skirting the Issue.

I was inspired by the stripes on the skirt.

2) Moxie Fab World - The Chevron Chic Challenge

3) National Bike Month Challenge over at Paper Crafts Magazine.

I stamped the Chevron Stripes background stamp set from PTI Using Raspberry Fizz Ink. I the die cut PTI Matstack die with Aqua Mist paper, stamped the bike from PTI Everyday Button Classic stamp set and then added some buttons. The sentiment kind of looks crooked, but oh well.

I really liked how this card turned out and plan to do a few more cards with these chevron stripes.

Unity May Sketch Challenge

A simple but elegant card that I did for the Unity KOTM Sketch challenge for May. I used the June 2009 Unity KOTM Perfect in Every Way! I just love this kit.

I am also entering this card for the Unity Challenge - Tweet Tweet - to incorporate birds in your project.

I paper pierced the tea pot with some polka dot patterned paper and then colored the bird and leaves with copics. I really liked how this card turned out and loved this sketch and this sketch will go into my list of to fav's.

My friend's daughter Shikha loves her Gymboree time and I loved these pictures of her. I used this pictures to create this layout for the Sketchy Thursday Sketch Challenge.

New Swing

I did this LO for the Page Maps Sketch Challenge. This is a photo of my friend's daughter who was so excited to get a new swing. This photo was just so precious that I had to create a LO with it. This photo reminded me of how we can be happy with simple things in life and to enjoy each day to its maximum.

I bought these Core-dinations Foundations smooth card stock recently and I am not really loving them, they are a bit too thin for my taste. I mean I love Core-dinations Card stock and that is what I use all the times, but I use the textured ones. This time, I thought I will give these a try, but did not like them and will not go back. You are the Best

A quick and easy Mothers Day card using Tuesday Morning Sketch #92.

I used PTI Background basics - Geometrics and created the background. It did not come out exactly right, but the blank line in between stamping kind of creates another pattern :) The flower image is from Autumn Abundance. I love this set from PTI. I know it is now spring and this is more of an autumn'ish bouquet, but somehow I wanted to pair the orange/yellow and green together. Sentiment is also from Autumn Abundance Set.
