My First Washi Tape Card

Hi Friends, Washi Tape is the craze every where and I did not own any until now. End of last month I was visiting seattle and ended up at the Impress Rubber Stamps store in Tukwila(GASP!!!). It was soo cool. I got two washi tapes from there. But I had not still tried it on anything. Then my friend got us some Queen and Co Washi tapes. I still had not tried it on any cards. The final tip was that Target is selling Washi Tapes. I had to get some and I decided enough of hoarding and did a card with it :)) YAY....

Here is a close up of the colored image and the Washi Tape from Target.

It is kind of hard to see in the card, but I have used white over white. I put the washi tape on a white panel (3.75"x5") and then mounted that on a white card base using foam dots. The image is from PTI's Autumn Abundance stamp set. I love this stamp set. Sentiment is from the same set as well.

I made this card for the very first challenge from Oozak blog. Loved this design so much that I am using the same for PTI Swap Card hosted by Michele on SCS for the "Thinking Of You" Category.

Here is a photo of my Washi Tape Stash.

EDITED TO ADD - This card was totally inspired by NorAnne's card that you can see here.

Thanks for Stopping by,
Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Autumn Abundance
Ink - Memento Black, Copics
Paper - PTI White and Hawaiian Shores Cardstock
Other - Marvy Circle Punches, Washi Tape from Target

Banu - love your use of washi tape. I, myself, am getting ready to plunge into the craze, as I have a number of tapes on order - may even use it for one of the PTI cards in the swap.

EEK!! This looks so pretty!
Don't even get me started on Washi tape. I bought a few rolls a few weeks ago and now I think this has turned into my latest obsession

Wow, I saw the tape at target but resisted for some reason. It looks really nice on a project.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. To answer your question I do print both at home and at Ritz. This week was mostly at home. I use cardstock instead of photo paper. Just like that better sometimes. It works really well for phone pics!
