ICRC29 - Elements and a "Theme" Twist

Hello Friends, Happy May and hoping to see lots of May Flowers :))

May means new Challenge over at ICR.  Here is the Challenge for the month of May ICRC29 – Card with Elements and a “Theme” Twist.

You'll be using ELEMENTS on your cards that you'll find on our DT Blogs.  That's right...you'll have to visit each of the five DT blogs listed below for the elements.  You only need to put three of the elements onto your card, but you can use more than three if you'd like.

Finally, you must visit the ICR Blog for the TWIST!!!

My Element is FLOWERS :)) (Yup..Gotta have some flowers for May).

Here is my card,

It was fun working on this CAS Card. The sentiment is from Verve stamp set. I love to create Monochromatic card - cream and white in this case with some Pop of Red and Pink Colors.

So you have some visiting to do!  Have fun, and I look forward to seeing your projects on ICR! Be sure to list the three elements that you've used, when posting your cards. If you have any questions, please reach out to any of the DT members!

Project Life Week 17

Hello All, Happy Tuesday. I am back with my Weekly Project life Post. It is week 17 and end of April. Time is flying by so quickly. I am loving all different PL products out there - in the stores and in digital world. For this week's LO, I used the Citrus Twist Kits April Kit. Loved the soft pink and green colors.

I used a few Simple Stories Filler cards and a few Studio Calico PL kit cards as well. I was a bit busy this week, so did handwritten journaling instead of computer one and not sure if I am 100% happy with it. I will have to decide later.

We had a movie/TV night on Sunday. We watched quite a few Episodes of White Collar - Totally hooked to this and also the movie Django Unchained. So, I had to include posters of those two movies this time. :)

I am linking this up to "The Mom Creative Blog" and of course I am playing along with Kristin's Currently Challenge.

Thanks for Stopping by.

Project Life Week 16

Hello Friends, I am back with Week 16 of Project life. The weather here has been a bit of cold, dreary and cloudy. So, not great pictures of the layout.

I used mainly Becky Higgins Digital Kraft kit journaling cards for this week along with a bunch of Studio Calico April PL and Noted Stamps in Digital format. I love this month's stamps from Studio Calico. Something I see myself using over and over again.

The home image, the coffee cup, the camera, lately, all those are part of the Studio Calico Digital Stamps.

I had a bit of Page Protector Dilemma -  Last week on the right hand side, I had used Design D page protectors (With Vertical Photos) and I completely forgot about and printed the photos for Design A page protectors. So, this week I ended up having an extra layout - which I call the Bonus Layout. For the left side which was Design D - I used a 12x12 picture of Bella..Love this idea. For the right side, I used a bunch of Studio Calico PL kit fillers which I normally do not get to use and also some packed by cards and other misc stuff. I loved this concept and once in a while it would be nice to do something like this.

I noticed that one of the cards has kind of slid out..Oh well :))

I am loving PL and enjoying it more and more esp with Studio Calico PL Kits. I used a free for personal use font called Cutie Patootie for my journaling this time.

I am linking it up to The Mom Creative Blog and of course I am playing along with Kristin's currently Challenge as well.

Project Life Week 15

Hello Friends,

It is Tuesday and time for my Project Life post :)) It is already half way in April and I am enjoying PL more than ever.

I wanted to share week 15 of my PL. I used mostly Studio Calico April PL Kit cards for my layout this time. I also did quite a bit of handwritten journaling this time. Still not a big fan of my own handwriting, but it was not too bad this time.

I loved the bright colors of SC April PL Kit and I also did quite a bit of digital stamping on the photos before printing them. Very happy as to how this week's LO turned out. Was happy to use a different design of page protector for the right hand side of the page and thus I could use some of the Horizontal layout journaling cards.

I am linking this up to "The Creative Mom Blog and of course I am playing along with Kristin's Currently Challenge

Project Life Week 14 and some PL products

Hi Friends, Happy Tuesday. I am back with my project life week 14. I used a bunch of Studio Calico April Kit Journaling cards and also some of Becky Higgins Kraft Digital Design as well. Loving the kraft cards. Simple and elegant.

Left Page:
The 4x6 card that I used for the title and the other spot is also from SC April kit. I used the sequins also from the same kit. The little things banner card is from a pack of journaling cards that I bought at Michaels. The adore and story tickets are from Tim Holtz. I loved how that filler card turned out.

Right Page:
I added some Digital stamps on a photo and used a few SC Printables here as well as a filler card from SC April kit. I loved the Crayon 4x6 card and used that to hold the Crop photos from the weekend. Thought that was quite appropriate.

Here are a few closeup's,
I have become a total PL addict and I scored some "cool" or so I think supplies - mostly journaling cards and some stickers in Michaels today and here is a picture of them.

I am linking with the "The Creative Mom" blog and of course I am playing along with Kristin's currently challenge although I used a SC kit currents card and not Kristin's this time.
