Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge

A CAS Card for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge. Loved this sketch and will probably use it again.

I had bought one of these older SU retired stamp set called Bitty Boutique a while ago and it was perfect for this sketch. I used the wonderful mother sentiment from one of the SU SAB sets (will edit the post later once I look it up).

Here is the sketch,

In retrospect, I might use a different background mat for the image so that it stands out a bit more. But I loved this sketch and can see so much more possibilities with it.

Thanks For Stopping by,
Supplies:
Stamp - SU Bitty Boutique
Paper - PTI Lavender Moon and Vintage Cream CS, PTI Patterned paper
Ink - Memento Black, Copics
Other - May Arts Ribbon, PTI Doily Die, Nestabilities,

Christmas Wishes with Butterflies

I created this card for Pals Paper Arts Challenge #68 - which was a beautiful inspiration photo. I did not have the colors that were a perfect match to the photo, but I think these come close enough.

The SU Medallion stamp is stamped with Purely Pomegranate ink and the sentiment is stamped in Lavender lace. I was blog surfing and found this interesting challenge of using 5 or more butterflies on your Christmas card/project on on Roree's blog. So, I added some gold butterflies (punched with MS punch) all around the medallion. I really loved how this card turned out.

Here is s a close up of the butterflies,

PPA #37 - Flower Theme

The Pals Paper Arts challenge #37 is Flower Themed cards :) Even though they do not ask you to use SU products, this is one challenge where I try to use my SU stamps..coz it is nice to think out side the box.

Amongst all my SU Stamps - I have two favorite flower stamps - A little happiness and Eastern Blooms..so I decided to be generous and do two cards for this challenge :)

For my first card using - A Little bit of Happiness. This card was inspired from this card that I saw on SCS. I used water color brush to create the effect she had done on her card....but then the rest of the design is mine :)

Here is my card,

I used my new SU Supplies - the new border punch from SAB, the new corduroy buttons from Occasions Mini (I think)..

Here is my second card using Eastern Blooms. I kept it simple. I just love this Cherry Blossom (I think??) flower image from this set.

I added some Stickles to the flower centers. Some PTI Raspberry Fizz ribbon and a tag with sentiment completes the statement.

Supplies:
