Zeno

Zeno is the German Shepherd dog of my husband's family in India. I did this layout with the pictures that we took during our trip to India during November 2010. He is so hard to photograph as he is always moving and running.

Of course, I jumped at the chance of using Tim Holtz Rosette die. I am entering this layout for two challenges,

1) Sketchy Thursdays 1-5 Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch,

2)By the Numbers challenge on Scrapbook Challenges Forum. The challenge was to use,

1. 1 title
2. 2 photos
3. 3 stamped images (I used the stamps from PTI Journaling Lines - Lines, Sentiment and the star shaped stamp)
4. 4 circles - (2 for journaling circle and two circles from the brads)
5. 5 papers (3 patterened papers and 2 cardstock)
6. 6 buttons

Thanks for stopping by,

Happy Diwali

Hi Friends, I know it is not Diwali yet. But I wanted to create a LO using pictures of Shikha (My friend's daughter)- from last year's Diwali Celebration.

 1) As soon as I saw the Sketchy Thursday 6-23 Sketch, I knew these pictures were perfect for that layout.

2) I am entering this LO in the My Unity Place - Scrapbook challenge - To use Banners on your page.

3) I am also submitting this LO for Nichol Magouirk's challenge on Two Peas in a Bucket - to Use paint/ink/etc. to customize your own embellishments on your next layout!

These are the pictures of my friend's daughter Shikha - when she was all dressed up for the last year Diwali Festival. I had to create a LO with these pictures.

I used the Happy Banner image from the June 2009 Unity KOTM - Perfect in Every Way for the title along with some American Crafts Thickers. I colored the banner image with some copic markers to keep it within my color theme.

The border at the bottom is Tim Holtz Grunge board that I cut with the edgers die and then inked it with some Ranger Acrylic Paint. I also colored the brads with copic markers to get a matching color for my LO.

The layout is simple, but I liked how it turned out. Here is the Sketchy Thursday sketch,

July 12th Monday {ippity} Blog Hop

It is time for Monday {ippity} Hop. I have a scrapbook page to share with you today. I used two {ippity} sets on this page - A Moment In Time and Life's Little Moments. These two sets are just perfect for scrapbooking.

Please click here if you want to buy some {ippity} stamps.

These are some old family pictures that my Mom recently scanned and sent to me, so I was excited to do something with these pictures. I used Sketchy Thursday Sketch for this layout.

I cut out the family tag with Nestabilities. I also used the heart frame and the Grateful sentiment from A Moment in Life. The title Family is from Life's Little Moments set. I used some of the rectangle panels from A Moment in Time at the bottom of the page to add some accent. I am really happy how this page turned out. I want to apologize for the quality of my picture of the layout, somehow I was not able to get a good picture of it. The layout looks really good IRL.

Sketchy Thursday 2nd chance Challenge

I used the 2nd Chance Challenge Sketch from Sketchy Thursday for these photos that we had taken during my parents trip here. This was taken in a mall here. My parents enjoyed walking through the mall along with Shopping. They had lot of greenery in the mall when we were there, which is what prompted me to use this green PP from SU.

I used SU Patterned Papers and some flowers :) I cut out the accent from Cricut Home Decor Cartridge. Title is done using AC Thickers. In Retrospect, I should have used some other color and not Green for Title, but I am happy how the LO turned out.

Here is the Sketch,

Supplies:

March 15th - {ippity} Blog Hop

Hello Friends, It is time for another {ippity} Blog Hop. Please stop by at the {ippity} blog to see the complete list of participants.

Please Click here if you want to buy some of these awesome {ippity} stamps :)

I have an LO to share for this blog hop. I used the Sketchy Thursday sketch for this LO.

I used the the branch image and the butterfly from the Devoted set to add some accent to the page. I used the Original Stamp from the Love In Return stamp set to accent the title.

Instead of using a big photo in the sketch, I used this status collage from my face book account. At the end of year 2009, I created this collage of all my past status from face book :) Here are two close up's of the butterfly and the original stamped images. I have put some subtle glitter on the butterfly and branches, but it was kind of hard to capture it on film.

Here is the Sketch that I used,

Supplies:
Stamp - {ippity} Devoted and Love In Return Sets
Paper - Provocraft Vintage Collection, Generic Blue and Kraft CS
Ink - Ranger Distress Inks
Other - AC Felt Thickers, Nestabilities, Felt Flower Ribbon
