SCA3C21 Misty Shadow Leaf

Sara's Perfect Match Color Combination for this week was,

Aqua Mist, Spring Moss, New Leaf and Smokey Shadow.

It was fun that I had gotten my last PTI order just yesterday which has the Smokey Shadow CS, so it was fun creating this card,

I used the Tags for Spring set stamped in Melon Berry to create the main element. The sentiment was from the Anniversary Set - Everyday Classics.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Tags for Spring, PTI Polka Dot Basics, PTI Everyday Classics Anniversary Set
Ink - Dark Chocolate, Smokey Shadow, Melon Berry
Paper - PTI Smokey Shadow, New Leaf, Aqua Mist, Spring Moss CS
Other - 2" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder

SCA3C20 - Spring, Berry Chocolate Tart

For this week Sara's color challenge had the colors Spring Moss, Melon Berry, Dark Chocolate and Lemon Tart.

I was trying to make a kids birthday card and this color combination turned out to be perfect. I used the Frog stamp from Pond life and stamped it on Lemon Tart, Spring Moss and Melon Berry using Dark Chocolate Ink. Then just layered these on a Dark Chocolate Card base. The words Hippity Hop punched out with SU Word Window punch made a good addition.

I was thinking when my latest PTI order comes, I can use the chocolate buttons and embellish this card some more.

Supplies:
Stamp set - PTI Pond Life
Ink - PTI Dark Chocolate
Paper - PTI CS - Dark Chocolate, Melon Berry, Lemon Tart, Spring Moss, Vintage Cream
Other - Word Window Punch, Ribbon

Sara's Perfect Match Monday SCA3C19 Raspberry Fizz Mix

Sara's Perfect Match Monday challenge from last week (I think) was to use Raspberry Fizz. I fell in love with this color and have used it a lot. But I had not used it with the Raspberry Fizz DP as I had never bought it. But I printed off a sheet from the PTI using the try it before you buy option.

Here is a link to Sara's Challenge.

I needed to do birthday card for a young girl and this was just the right combination. So, here is my card using Raspberry Fizz and Raspberry Fizz DP. I used the Hibiscus button with it and I feel it looked quite pretty with it. Sentiment was from Birthday Basics set.

Later I felt I could have done additional things with the DP, but for some reason this simple design appealed to me a lot.

Supplies:
Stamp Set - PTI Birthday Basics
Ink - PTI Raspberry Fizz
Paper - PTI Raspberry Fizz, PTI True Black, PTI Stampers White, PTI Raspberry Fizz DP
Other - Spellbinders - Labels Trio Dies, PTI Hibiscus Burst Button, Hemp Cord, Marvy Scallop Square Punch

SCA3C12 card using the FTL Sketch 27

Sara has been providing these PTI Color challenges that are fun to create with. I figured why not use it with a sketch. I have been wanting to do this FTL Sketch 27 for a while now and I think it came out very well with this color combination.

I had loved this lattice border punch from Martha Stewart, but it is quite delicate and is easy to mess up if you are not careful. As you can see I messed up one end of it pretty badly. But I did not have time to redo that part, so here is the card as is. Maybe I can cover it up with some ribbon or something later :) I love how forgiving this paper crafting is.

Supplies:
Stamp Set - PTI Birds of a feather, PTI Square Borders and Corners
Paper - PTI Sweet Blush, Berry Sorbet and Dark Chocolate
Ink - PTI Berry Sorbet and Burnt Umber
Other - Martha Stewart Lattice Border Punch, SU 1 3/8" Square Punch
