Mojo Monday 103

Here is my entry for Mojo Monday Sketch 103. I used the Everyday button bits set from PTI. I had not inked this set up yet, so it was fun to use it on this challenge.

Here is my card,

I am glad to say that I have found my camera download cable. Yay...there was some sunlight streaming from the window when I took this photo, I kind of left it like that :)

This set is definitely fun to use and easy as well...:) Totally worth the money and plus has so many sentiments in it as well.

I also put a strip of the same My Minds Eye DP inside and added a sentiment.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Everyday Button Bits, Polka Dot Basics II
Paper - PTI Plum Pudding, My Minds Eye Polka Dot DP
Ink - PTI Plum Pudding, PTI Ripe Avocado
Other - PTI Plum Pudding Ribbon, Lavender Moon Vintage Buttons, PTI Chai Inking Cube

Kazan's Sketch 34 and Raspberry Suite color challenge #16

2nd post for the day. To see the Moxie Fab Holiday Card, please click here.

I used the Kazan's Sketch #34 along with the Raspbery Suite Color Challenge #16 for this card.

Here is the card. Sorry for the bad picture. Since I have misplaced my digital camera cable, I have to resort to scanning the card which does not do any justice to the cards.

I used the Damask Designs border to create the main background. I stamped the border image in Dark chocolate ink on summer Sunrise CS. The circular image has the text background stamped on Kraft. The Flower from In bloom cut out completed the card.

Here is Kazan's Sketch #34,

Here is the Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #16,

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Damask Designs, PTI Background Basics Text, PTI In Bloom
Ink - PTI Dark Chocolate, Memento Black
Paper - PTI Summer Sunrise, PTI Kraft, PTI Vintage Cream, PTI New Leaf CS
Other - PTI Vintage Cream Ribbon, Circle Punch, Nestabilities

Moxie Fab Stretch Your Holiday Style challenges

I wanted to play along with the Moxie Fab Stretch Your Holiday Style Challenges. I am very happy on how my cards turned out. But sadly I have misplaced my camera download cable and hence had to resort to scanning of my cards which sucks and which does not capture the colors and the 3d feeling very well.

Anyways here are my cards. Sorry for the long post :)

1) First one is the Clear and Graphic Style challenge.

I used the PTI Merry and Bright stamp set and directly stamped on the base card stock and then added the sentiment with some gems on it for added color. The sentiment was cut out using Nestabilities Oval label set.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Merry and Bright,
Paper - PTI Soft Stone, PTI Rustic Cream
Ink - PTI New Leaf, PTI Avocado, PTI Pure Poppy
Other - Nestabilities, Red colored Gems

2) Second in the list was A Vintage and Shabby Chic challenge.

I used the small ornamental tree from the Home for Holidays set and then stamped it in New Leaf on a kraft cardstock. I sponged the edges with some Ranger distress Ink. I stamped a patterned paper with PTI Text Background. Some Lace and brown ribbon and the sentiment attached with a pin completed the card. This card is totally influenced by my friend Chris who in my opinion is the Guru of Shabby Chic. You can see her blog here.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Home for Holidays, PTI Mixed Messages
Paper - PTI Rustic Cream, PTI Kraft, PTI White CS and My Minds Eye DP
Ink - PTI New LEaft, PTI Pure Poppy, PTI Dark Chocolate
Other - Lace Ribbon, PTI Dark Chocolate Ribbon, Generic Pin, Nestabilties Tags

3) Third is the A Fun and Cute Challenge.
I used this hedgehog stamp that I had gotten from Wally's a while ago. I used the PTI Lavendar Moon CS. I do not use this CS much :) I stamped the big cirlces from PTI Polka Dot Basics II directly on the CS using Lavendar Moon Ink. Then I used some polka dot DP from My Minds eye. The image was colored with Copics and then cut out with Oval Label Nestabilities. The sentiment is from PTI Mega Mixed Messages and two Lavender Moon buttons completed the card.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Mega Mixed Messages, PTI Polka Dot Basics II, Clear HedgeHog Stamp
Paper - PTI Lavendar Moon, My Minds eye DP, PTI White CS
Ink - PTI Lavendar Moon, PTI Pure Poppy, Copics
Other - Nestabilities Oval Label, PTI Vintage Lavendar Moon Button, Copic SPICA Glitter Pen

4) Fourth was the A Classy and Elegant Challenge.

I want to apologize for the bad photo. The scanner squished the ribbons. I used the DP from the DCVW - I cannto remember the name. I kept it simple with some ribbon, pearls and the image from PTI Holiday Tags set. I really liked how it came out. The photo does not do proper justice to the card.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI 2008 Holiday Tag Collection
Paper - PTI Scarlett Jewel, Ripe Avacado CS, DCVW DP
Ink - PTI Ripe Avocado Ink
Other - PTI Vintage Cream Ribbon, Pearl Embellishment

5) The Last one was Stamped Element Challenge.

I was inspired by the card that was featured in this post by Dawn McVey. So I used the Guidlines II CS from PTI and the Guidelines II Stamp and created my background. I used the sentiment from PTI Holiday Wishes. Kept it simple. I really liked how this turned out. Again the scanned image does not do any justice.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Guidelines II, PTI Holiday Wishes
Ink - PTI Pure Poppy, PTI New Leaf, PTI Dark Chocolate CS
Paper - PTI Shimmer White CS, PTI GuideLines II CS, PTI White and Generic Gold/Kraft colored CS
Other - Red Gross Grain Ribbon, Marvy Square Scalloped Punches

Thanks for reading through my long post.

Copic Colour Challenge #29 meets TECC Sketch #80

I used TECC Sketch #80 for the Copic Color Challenge #29. The colors this time also matched with the Pottery Barn Catalog that had baskets and oranges/greens in it.

Here is my card. I used the PTI Vintage Picnic set as the basket in the Pottery Barn catalog reminded me of this set. I did not have the exact colors mentioned in the copic color challenge and I used the nearest ones for the brown and orange. I did use the Spanish Olive color,

I used the PTI Polka Dot Basics II set and stamped directly on the Kraft CS. Then I adhered the PTI Bitty Boxes DP (This is my fav DP). A bow with button completed the card.

NOTE - Sorry for the blurry picture. Will try to get a better picture tomorrow in daylight.

Here is the TECC Sketch #80,

Here is a snapshot of the Pottery Barn catalog that inspired me. The photo is not that good, but you will get an idea.

Here is the copic color challenge chart,

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Vintage Picnic, PTI Polka Dot Basics II
Paper - PTI Bitty Boxes DP, PTI Craft CS, Gina K Pure Luxury 120 lb White CS
Ink - PTI Dark Chocolate, Memento Black, Copics
Other - Generic Brown Ribbon, PTI Vintage New Leaf Button
