Card Patterns Sketch #78

I needed some masculine cards for some upcoming birthday's. I also had bought a light house stamp set from Cornish Heritage Farms. So, here is my masculine birthday card using the Lighthouse stamp and Card Patterns Sketch #78.



I am very happy how this card turned out. I stamped the image using Memento Black ink and then colored it with Copics. I then sponged some Memento Blue Sky ink to kind of give a ocean effect. Some birds stamped on the scene completed the main focal image. I used a combination of blue papers from my stash. The sentiment is from PTI Faux Ribbon set. I used Nestabilities tag to cut it out and added a blue button -- keeping with the sketch.

The card base is chocolate, but it kind of looks dark in my photo. I loved the combination of pink and chocolate :)

I used the CPS 179 sketch for this card. I used the PTI Ric Rac Die and cut out some out of Patterned paper. I kind of liked how this card turned out and will be doing a few more with this set.
