At the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington, TX - I bought a few Rubber Cafe Stamps that I just fell in love with. I did a make and take card at their booth and have been wanting to share these cards with you all for a while now...but sometimes I get so caught up in either some sketch challenge or some thing else that I have not had a chance to show some of my other cards - not that I am complaining...challenges and sketches keep me thinking out of the box and trying things out of my comfort zone.
This first card is the one I did at Make and Take. It is a gate fold card and they are sooooo easy to make with scorpal. That is another thing that I learnt at the make and take. The butterfly is colored with copics and coated with Shimmerz. You can see how nice it looks in the closeup.
Here is a view of the Gatefold,
Here is the close up of the butterfly,
I also wanted to share this other Birthday card that I did using the same rubber stamps and the word celebrate from the PTI Out of the Box Stamp set,
I again colored the butterflies with copics and cut them out and popped them up with some foam dots. The background paper was a gift from my friend Rimi and not sure which company it is from.
Here is the last card, a bouquet of daisies. Kept this card very simple.
Supplies:
Stamp - Rubber Cafe - Butterfly, Grass and Bouquet of Daisies, PTI Out of the box sentiments
Paper - Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Red, PTI New Leaf CS, PTI White CS
Ink - Memento Black, Ranger Walnut Ink, Copics
Other - Nestabilities, Dew Drops, Ribbon, Shimmerz
