Friend Card for Just Us Girls Challenge

It was a technique Challenge at Just Us Girls - Sewing. I did this quick card for my close friend...Just to say Hello.

Here is my card. I kept it simple. I used this Guidelines DP from PTI and stitched on it to kind of make a border. But later I realized that the thread I was using was very light for this DP. I should used some darker color - like brown or pink.. Oh well..I still liked how this card turned out. I used the Friend's 'Till End set.

I took a couple of close up shots to show the stitching,

Banu's Quick Tip - I stamp a bunch of these flowers on CS and I cut them out when I am watching TV or something like that. So at any given point of time, I have a bunch of these flowers cut out - which makes it very easy to put together a card.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Friends 'Till End
Paper - PTI Raspberry Fizz, PTI Guidelines DP, PTI White CS
Ink - PTI Raspberry Fizz, PTI Dark Chocolate
Other - Generic Pearl Embellishment

I like your tip on cutting these out before you need them! That way you don't feel that time crunch and cut off a petal...how would I know about that!?!? I always wish I could sew when I see stitching on cards.
