My First 10 Minute card dash

Hello Friends, I am back with a quick quick card that did for 10 minute card dash. I did pull out papers and stamp set out earlier. But everything else was done on the clock, cutting of the papers, stamping, coloring, scoring the card base etc.
I loved how this card turned out.....I used the Lawn Fawn Blissful Botanical stamp set for this card. Love that set and had not inked it in ages. I colored the leaves alternatively with dark orange and green and then added the simple Thanks sentiment.

I am entering this card for the following challenges,
1) 10 Minute Card Dash #6
2) Lawnscaping Challenge Dust 'Em Off! - to use something from your stash that you have not used in a while. I inked up the Lawn Fawn Blissful Botanicals stamp set that I had not used for a while.

3) Last but not the least - Case Study Challenge #116<. I loved Angeline Yong's gorgeous card and I loved how she had those flower stalks going up on one side of the card, which was inspiration for my card.

I wanted to share a quick photo of my stop watch. It took me to 6:37 minutes to complete the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Cute Smile

I just love this photograph of my friend's daughter and have been wanting to create a layout with it for a while, but just has not happened. But the pagemaps sketch this time was perfect for this picture.

I am also entering this layout for the Lawnscaping Challenge Texture.

I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set called Blissful botanicals (I just love this stamp set) for this layout. I used the long vine image and stamped it repeatedly to create my center pattern paper. I also used the flowers to create some accents on the page and of course the sentiment Smile which was so appopriate.

I created texture on this page by using felt butterflies, the pearl embellishment and also the ribbon on the tag.

Here is the pagemaps sketch,
Thanks for stopping by,

Shine Brightly

I made this Card for my friend for the Chinese New Year Celebrations. I am late, but I am sure she will appreciate the thought. By the time I thought of how great the Lunar Lanterns stamp set from Lawn fawn is and I ordered it etc, it was late :( But now that I have the stamp set in my hand, I should be on time for next year :)

I stamped the Lantern images on the white card stock and on the patterned paper, cut it out and added them on top of the stamped image. These lanterns have such well defined lines that it was breeze to cut them out. The picture is not the best, the card has a soft pastel look IRL.

I also made her this small Origami Box filled with some Hershey's kisses. I paper pierced this lantern image as well. :)

I did this card for the following two challenges,

1) Lawnscaping Challenge #4 - Paper Piercing

2) Moxie Fab World Stamp It! Techniques Week: The Paper Piecing Challenge

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you checkout the Lawnscaping Challenge blog. Lawn Fawn are really neat. These lanterns were so easy to cut out.
