I am part of a coffee/tea themed swap on SCS and as I was putting the kit together for my 2nd spot in that swap, I wanted to do a sample card. And then I saw the Mojo Monday Sketch and they went perfectly together. I have used all the supplies that are part of the card swap kit. The papers are from Bo Bunny and Basic Grey. Ribbon is generic ribbon from Michaels. Images are from Justrite stamps - Just a little caffeine borders & centers.

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #7

2nd Post for the day...See below for my first post.

I was browsing Dawn's blog and saw the color challenge #7. Although I have saved her previous color challenges, had not done any card yet, but these colors appealed to me so much that here is my card. I CASE'd the part where the background is created on the card using fresh snow ink from Melissa's creation. I distressed the spring moss paper and added some glitter to the bird house.

Gina K Designs May Release Challenge

Gina K Designs had a big release yesterday and as part of it they have been having challenges on the SCS Forum. I participated in all the three challenges and wanted to share those cards with you all.

Challenge 1 was to create a masculine card and I wanted to use the GKD Stamps that I have in hand and hence this Birthday card for my nephew.



Challenge 2 was to create a card for a kid or a teen. So I created this card for my very close friend's daughter using GKD Retro Boutique set. I have falled in love with this particular set by Rupa Shevde.



Challenge 3 was to create a ATC Card. I have never done one of these before. But I went ahead and did a simple one that I can use in a card sometime. I used GKD Friendship's Garden set for it. I sponged the paper using some lemon tart ink from PTI and then stamped on it and colored the flower with Copics. Easy peasy.

Tea-rrific Teacher

I wanted to share the following two cards that I did with the Tea set from Renaissance by Design Stamps. Here is a link to the stamp set that I used. I only used the teapot image from the set for these cards. The sentiment was created in computer and printed out.



For this card, I created the circles background using PTI Circle Borders and Corners set on the PTI Guidelines 2 Card Stock. This was a CASE from one of Nichole Heady's card, but I kind of liked how it turned out. I am sorry that the picture is slightly blurry.

Sketch 19 - 52 sketches 52 weeks

I really liked the sketch 19 and it was fun to work with. I used the 7 Gypsies paper along with some making memories metal sayings and some generic chipboard flowers and paper ribbon.

Instead of the title in the half circle, I put a travel sticker and used some bling to decorate it.

Showcasing Scattered Showers

I was debating about the Scattered Showers set from PTI and did not get it when it was first released. But something about it made me feel like get it and I think it is a pretty verstatile set. The sentiments itself might not be useful all the time, but the images for sure and they can be so easily paired with other sentiments in other PTI Stamp sets.

The new Mojo Monday sketch is just awesome. I was getting so many ideas with this card, but needed a Thank you card so ended up doing the sketch with SU True Friend Set. This set is one of my To Go sets :)

Spring Fling Challenge from PTI

Nichole Heady of PTI has this new challenge on her blog called Spring Fling Challenge to welcome Spring. The challenge was to get inspired by some of the "Springy" photos her Designers has and create your own card out of it.

I got inspired by the photo that Heather Nichols had. It had these subtle greens blended with white. She had made a quilted card. I also did a quilted card but with a difference.

I used the different PP from PTI to create a quilted background. Then I stamped the images from the Life stamp set in Melon Berry, Summer sunrise and Green Leaf on Vintage Cream CS. I cut it out using Labels 2 Nestabilites. Life Sentiment stamped in New Leaf and punched out finished the card. I kept the card very simple.
