Mojo Monday on a Saturday

Happy World Card Making Day Friends. In honor of this awesome day, I will be having a few blog posts throughout the day!!!!!

I love Mojo Monday Sketches, but as usual I am always late. This time I managed to create a card and more than that photograph it and blog about it for the Mojo Monday Sketch #261

I used the new PTI Autumn abundance die (released recently) and cut out the image. I then stamped the image from Autumn Abundance stamp set and colored it with copics. I just love this stamp set from PTI.

I also used a doily die cut and some offray ribbon for the card. Here is the mojo monday sketch,

My First Washi Tape Card

Hi Friends, Washi Tape is the craze every where and I did not own any until now. End of last month I was visiting seattle and ended up at the Impress Rubber Stamps store in Tukwila(GASP!!!). It was soo cool. I got two washi tapes from there. But I had not still tried it on anything. Then my friend got us some Queen and Co Washi tapes. I still had not tried it on any cards. The final tip was that Target is selling Washi Tapes. I had to get some and I decided enough of hoarding and did a card with it :)) YAY....

Here is a close up of the colored image and the Washi Tape from Target.

It is kind of hard to see in the card, but I have used white over white. I put the washi tape on a white panel (3.75"x5") and then mounted that on a white card base using foam dots. The image is from PTI's Autumn Abundance stamp set. I love this stamp set. Sentiment is from the same set as well.

I made this card for the very first challenge from Oozak blog. Loved this design so much that I am using the same for PTI Swap Card hosted by Michele on SCS for the "Thinking Of You" Category.

Here is a photo of my Washi Tape Stash.

EDITED TO ADD - This card was totally inspired by NorAnne's card that you can see here.

Thanks for Stopping by,

You are the Best

A quick and easy Mothers Day card using Tuesday Morning Sketch #92.

I used PTI Background basics - Geometrics and created the background. It did not come out exactly right, but the blank line in between stamping kind of creates another pattern :) The flower image is from Autumn Abundance. I love this set from PTI. I know it is now spring and this is more of an autumn'ish bouquet, but somehow I wanted to pair the orange/yellow and green together. Sentiment is also from Autumn Abundance Set.

Here is the sketch,

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #37

As soon as I saw the Inspiration photo at The Play Date Cafe Challenge #37, I knew that I wanted to use one of the images from PTI's Autumn Abundance stamp set.

I scored some vertical lines on the card stock to mimic the shelf and then paper pierced the vase to kind of match the Vase in the image. The paper is from OA Thrift Shop Collection. Some Orange Organza ribbon completed the card. I kept the card simple, but in retrospect I would have liked to add some pearl pins to the ribbon knot. :) Note to self for next card.

Here is a close up of the card,

CPS 149 and PTI Swap

I wanted to share the projects that I did for the PTI Card and Notebook Swap on SCS being hosted by my dear friend Susan.

Here is my card for the swap and I did this using the CPS149 Sketch.

I used the Autumn Abundance stamp set, colored it with Copics and used some Friends 'Till End DP from PTI :) The card came together quickly and I am quite happy how it turned out.

Here is the CPS Sketch,

Next up is the notebook that I did for the Notebook swap. I used these 5x8 Junior Legal Notepads from Staples. I had done a bunch of them earlier where I had gotten these cut in half, but I wanted to try altering the notepad as is. :) Here is the result.
I used all PTI Products on this with the exception of the Prima Flowers and the bling brad. The cover opens up like a matchbox cover and it was fun doing this.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Take a Note, PTI Autumn Abundance
Paper - PTI Kraft, Soft Stone, Dark chocolate and White CS, PTI Friends 'Till End DP, PTI Bitty Dots DP
Ink - PTI Dark Chocolate, PTI Ocean Tides, PTI New Leaf and Memento Black, Copics

Copic Color Challenge #31

Here is a simple card that I made for Copic Color Challenge #31. This is for my sister-in-law's birthday.

I used the Autumn Abundance stamp from PTI and colored it with Copics. The sentiment is from the PTI Handwritten Notes set. I kept the card simple.

Here is the card,

I used YR68 and Y38 for the flower and E17 for the flower Center.
I did not have G94, so instead I used a combination of YG93 and G99 for the Leaves and B99 and BG09 for the Pitcher. It was really fun working on this card.

Here is the Copic chart for this week's color challenge,

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Autumn Abundance, PTI Handwritten Notes
Paper - PTI White and Spring Moss CS, My Minds Eye Polka dot DP

PTI Round 4 Swap Cards

I wanted to share the two cards that I have done for the PTI Round 4 Swap on SCS hosted by Stephanie.

Here is my first card,

I used PTI With Sympathy set. Stamped the vine image on Vintage Cream, stamped again with no ink, to get that shadow effect (love that). I then stamped the flower using Raspberry Fizz. The sentiment is from Heartfelt Basics set and stamped on the Spring Moss CS. Some butterflies and pearls completed the card. I kept it simple, but kind of happy how it turned out. The base CS is Smokey Shadow. It complements the Vintage Cream very nicely.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Heartfelt Basics, PTI With Sympathy
Paper - PTI Vintage Cream, PTI Spring Moss, PTI Raspberry Fizz and PTI Smokey Shadow
Ink - Memento Black, PTI Raspberry Fizz
Other - Martha Steward Butterfly punch, Oval Label Nestabilities, Generic Pearl Embellishment

Here is my 2nd card,

I used the image from the Autumn Abundance stamp set and colored it with Copics. The background is embossed with the Texture plate from Cuttlebug and then some ribbon and button completed the card. I used the Chai ink cube to distress the edges a bit.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Autumn Abundance
Paper - PTI Scarlett Jewel, PTI White and PT Rustice Cream CS
Ink - Memento Black, Copics, PTI Scarlett Jewel
Other - PTI Scarlett Jewel polka dot Ribbon, PTI Scarlett Jewel Vintage Button, Cuttlebug
