Appreciate you

Hello Friends, Happy Friday :) We have a cold front here in Texas :) But it is nice and toasty in my craft studio..so all is well.

This is a card that I made for
1) CASE Study Challenge #114

I just love the design/Layout of Julia's card - you can see her original card on the CASE Study challenge blog - and kept the same and instead of the felt plants she had in her card, I used butterflies for my card.

2) I am also entering this card for the Indian craft room Challenge - ICRC22 : MONOCHROMATIC + LETTER FAMILY!!!

So, the challenge was to create a card with Monochromatic Colors and use embellishments from the same letter.

So, I went with B - Blue, Blue Patterned Papers, Butterfly, Bling, Brad (the big butterfly has a blue brad in the center).

Loved how this card turned out. I used PTI Butterfly dreams stamp set for this card and the sentiment is from PTI YOF - Lily of the Valley stamp set. I then punched out some extra butterflies using MS punches and then added some brad and bling. The blue flower felt ribbon was from stash.

Thanks for stopping by,

I did this card for the PTI Make It Monday Challenge #7 - to use colors on a non-neutral card stock. I used the Mojo Monday Sketch #182 (from a few weeks back I think) for this card.

I used stamped the butterfly image from PTI Butterfly dreams on PTI Aqua Mist Card stock and then colored it with Copics to create a gradient shading. I am in love with this Technique and will use it more often.

The image is from the PTI Anniversary Download tags and I used one of their new Doily Dies as well.

The Sweet Stop Challenge #66 - is a sketch challenge. I had printed out this beautiful Bird house image from The Sweet and Sassy stamps (whenever I am printing off digital images, I print a sheet full to use the sheet completely). So, I had to play with their sketch.

Here is my card,

I used some OA and Luxe Designs Patterned paper along with PTI White CS for this card. The image was colored in copics and sentiment is from a PTI Set. I also used some Jute Ribbon.

Here is the sketch,

Color Throwdown #100 using Limelight Sketch

2nd Post for the day. Please scroll down or click here to see the Pals Paper Arts Challenge Card.

I have been seeing the color throw down challenges on number of blogs, but had never participated myself, but this 100th challenge from them was kind of tempting me. Then I saw the Limelight sketch and the card came together so easily.

I used PTI Spring Moss, Aqua Mist and Sweet Blush CS and Vivid Red Ink for the Color Throw down Colors. I used PTI Butterfly Dreams stamped in Red Ink and mounted it on Aqua Mist CS. Sentiment is from PTI Around and About Sentiments stamped on PTI Sweet Blush CS.

Here is the sketch,

The additional challenge from Limelight Paper crafts was to use background stamping. I used the PTI Text Basics Background image and stamped it in Versamark ink on the Spring Moss CS. I really loved how this card turned out.

Thanks for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Butterfly Dreams, PTI Around and About Sentiments and PTI Background basics - Text
Paper - PTI Vintage Cream, Rustic Cream, Sweet blush, Aqua Mist, Spring Moss CS
Ink - Versamark Ink, Vivid Red Ink

Framed Art Swap

I wanted to share this framed art that I created for my friend Jen's swap for Framed Art on SCS.

I used the butterfly images from PTI Butterfly dreams stamped on Rustic White CS. Inked the edges with Chai Inking Cube and then just arranged them on SU Soft Suede CS. I added some bling and pearls to give it some jazz. I kept it simple and loved how it turned out. I used a 5x7 frame for this. This particular frame has a depth kind of giving it a shadow box look.

Here is a closeup of the image,

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Butterfly Wishes
Paper - PTI Rustic White, SU Soft Suede
Ink - Memento Bamboo leaves, Ranger DI Spiced Marmalade, PTI Dark chocolate
Other - Rhinestones and Pearl Embellishments
