Compose a Card Challenge #5

I was finally able to play with Becky Oehlers Compose a Card Challenge. It is kind of fun as she gives the sizes, color and all and you have to create the card :)

I did not have the Red Polka Dot Paper that she was using in her card. So, I made some of my own. I stamped the polka dots from Polka Dot Basics in Fresh Snow Ink on Pure Poppy CS and used a smaller polka dot background from the same set and stamped it in Pure Poppy on white. I loved how this turned out and plan do more of these. I just had to leave the Fresh Snow ink to dry for a while :)

I punched out a flower from the White Polka dot Patterned paper that I had created for this card.

Here is my card,

Here is Becky's Compose a card challenge,

SCA3C21 Misty Shadow Leaf

Sara's Perfect Match Color Combination for this week was,

Aqua Mist, Spring Moss, New Leaf and Smokey Shadow.

It was fun that I had gotten my last PTI order just yesterday which has the Smokey Shadow CS, so it was fun creating this card,

I used the Tags for Spring set stamped in Melon Berry to create the main element. The sentiment was from the Anniversary Set - Everyday Classics.

Supplies:
Stamp - PTI Tags for Spring, PTI Polka Dot Basics, PTI Everyday Classics Anniversary Set
Ink - Dark Chocolate, Smokey Shadow, Melon Berry
Paper - PTI Smokey Shadow, New Leaf, Aqua Mist, Spring Moss CS

Color Inspiration

I love all these catalogs that has these beautiful colored house decor items and this particular comforter set in this catalog just called out to me. The colors were just beautiful and I had to do a card for that.

Here is the my card. I did not have the exact shades of those color, but I kind of liked this card. I used PTI polka dot basics and colored them with copics.

Around and About Sentiments

Around and About sentiments - January release from PTI is really a versatile set. Lot of possibilities. Wanted to share the two cards that I did with this set. Of course I have already used it on other cards as well including PTI Blog Hop.

Supplies: PTI Around and About Sentiments, PTI Berry Sorbet Ink.

PTI January Blog Hop

My very first blog hop with PTI and it is very exciting. The challenge this time was to make Birthday cards. There are so many choices with my PTI Stamp collection that it was a hard choice. Here is my Birthday card,

I used PTI Birds of feather, polka dot basics (to create the background) and Around & About Sentiments to kind of prop the sentiment. The sentiment itself is from Women of life.

Aqua mist and chocolate CS go together so well and is very pleasing to the eye.

Supplies: PTI Birds of Feather, PTI Polka Dot Basics, PTI Around & About Sentiments, PTI Women of Life, PTI Aqua Mist,Vintage Cream, Chocolate CS, PTI Everyday blessing PP, Circle Punches, SU Word Window Punch, Photo corner Punch.
