Monday {ippity} Hop with Thanks

It is {ippity} Hop Time. Please stop by at the {ippity} blog for the complete list of participants.

Here is my card for today's hop,

I needed some thank you cards and lately I seem to be in the Green color phase :) So here is my card using Leaves image from Where You Should Be set and the sentiment from The Simple Things set. I colored the image with copics (not my best coloring) and then distressed the edges with some Ranger DI - Frayed Burlap. I used the SCS Sketch #302 for this card.

Here is the sketch,

Please click here to see and order {ippity} stamps.

Thanks for stopping by,
Supplies:
Stamp - {ippity} Where you should be and The Simple Things
Paper - PTI Kraft and White CS, Bazzill Embossed Dots CS, Luxe Designs and Crate Paper Patterned Paper
Ink - Memento Black, Ranger DI - Frayed Burlap, Copics
Other - None

Lovely card...your leaves are colored very nicely!
I did learn a trick u can try for a different effect next time: for every green u want to use on your leaves (or any color on anything for that matter), use two from the same color family (close in number). Color the entire area with the lighter one, then go back and outline any lines with the darker one. Go back again with the lighter one and pull the dark color in a little to the center. It gives a great shading effect. Enjoy!
